i am a indie game developer myself still in the learning phase ,i am currently using babylonjs and o3de ,used roblox studio and unreal engine in the past.i recommend monogame if you make 2d games and console is important to you.If You ONLY Make 3d games with high fedelity graphics then use o3de ,babylonjs for web 3d games and Nu Game Engine for everything else.
